3D tumor cell line model

Daxiang and WuXi AppTec have cooperated to verify a variety of 3D tumor cell line models, which can be applied to drug screening and scientific research.  Compared with traditional 2D tumor cell lines, IBAC 3D tumor cell line models are more biomimetic and stable.

Validated Cell Lines
For marketed drugs, 27 cell lines (including 11 cancer types including gastric cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, and breast cancer) were selected for testing 18 chemotherapeutic drugs and 17 targets Carry cell lines for 21 targeted drug tests.
Chemotherapy Drug Screening
The results of preliminary screening of chemotherapy drugs on tumor cell lines showed that the drug resistance of IBAC 3D tumor cells was generally stronger than that of traditional 2D models.
Better consistence with animal model results
The drug response results of 3D tumor models are more consistent with animal experiments, and 95% of 2D false positive results can be excluded.
